ramayer subscribed.... awesome work, has me considering an RS wagon build (I really have to stop lurking on these forums, get on ask my questions and get out, and don't read build threads)

when you get a chance you should do a set of fenders and test fit them on the car to show the quality of fitment. I'm sure you will sell some pieces in the future.

and nice work on the bikes too, a guy down the road from me does the same kind of builds. never considered a custom Honda/Suzuki and such 'till I was in his shop and seen some of his work.

....You need your own shop. and if you find the $ for a new paint gun...trust me buy a Sata RP digital..... nicest paint gun you will ever use, I've let a few good friends who do not paint that often, use mine for their projects and they all said that the gun almost sprays the paint itself. show quality jobs from a rookie and I never have to buff a car that I paint with it. only minor denibbing. I never could get a paint job I was happy with using a Devilbis. always preferred German guns, used an Iwata for years before buying the sata and will never go back.

I did not. no one wanted to buy the parts.....at least not for what my time/effort and materials cost. There has been a nearly complete conversion kit with mostly OEM parts besides fenders and rear arches, made exactly as I do mine....for $2000 and not a single person has stepped up to purchase....$2000 is not worth all of the effort I have put into the molds, the process, and the cost of materials for me to make a kit. I will keep the molds as long as I keep the car, and if people ever need a single part to replace or complete their build....I can be that source.....otherwise I do not plan to market full kits. I don't think enough people would buy a full kit to try. My own car still isn't even done....I still have to make up myself a set of sideskirts, wire all the euro lighting bits, and make fog light mounts.

hurtinfocus car is parked under about 2' of snow....I'm working on another member's conversion for spring so mine is sitting until april before I do more with it....I'll at least be adding the sideskirts, fixing the spot where my motorcycle fell on it, and doing a few things with the hood. might design some molded mudflaps too, and possibly a wheel change.

mysvtny Dude, you're a legend. I just finished reading through this thread and I'm truly impressed. I would've never had that much patience. Thanks for a detailed write up, this is a killer car. Now as far as power, are you planning on FI the engine?
