Turbo Turtle i would run a stock 16g off a evo used before i put a cx turbo on my car

zetecfreak I could buy a spa and be happy. Has one before and it worked great for my goal. Or I could rebuild my Turbonetics.

Mother Focus Tough options a 6262 or a CX ? LOL I wouldn't waste even a 100 on that.

zetecfreak That's why I want to try it. It may hold up or it may only last a few days. At worst I waste 250 and we all learn from it. At best most focus owners can get a cheap reliable turbo for there goals.

Mother Focus How much you think the CX will last? How soon you will need another?
04-06-2013 10:52 AM
zetecfreak I would but I'm going off cost. Can't find anything new for less than 600. In using this as a test bed for a cheap zetec turbo kit idea. It seems ppl pay way to much for a kit designed for big power when most of us never exceed 250whp.

Mother Focus EVO guys may see full spool sooner than the zetec, it all depends on the intake manifold, manifold, exhaust, tune, charge pipe size and a few other variables but yes is a big power turbo. Instead of the CX try a GT28 or a smaller PTE, lots of people here run them.

zetecfreak That sounds like no good. I'm not sure how they can make it for so cheap. But they sell a lot of them from what I've seen.

Turbo Turtle ive got one of those cxracing turbos i use for moch up. its a gt3582r copy. i would never run it on a car. the shaft is so small and loose that is bound to come off or at least dig into the housing after a little abuse lol.
