rickdarris2004 Just make sure that you don't remove the whole unit, plugging it back in is a pain...

RonMaiden I don't really have a problem with the brightness of the stock LEDs and never gave an upgrade a thought but I'm curious to see if a swap is easy on this current gen. I do want to do the rear hatch area which looked like a huge improvement.

cornettbr The led lamp board will be a plug and play like a normal light bulb. I've changed these out on my old cars

JayDeZ If you have the LED lights they are soldiered to a circuit board. While technically replacement, it is very difficult.

JayDeZ I'm confused. My 2012 SEL has LED overhead lights from the factory. Are they standard lights in the SE for both years or did Ford get cheap for 2013?

SkyPilot pry the light from the rear, if you look closely you will see a little indent to insert something to pry it down, its easy enough to just do by hand tho. The the bulb sits in the middle just twist counter clock wise to remove. and reverse to install.

Replace overhead lamps

I'm thinking about replacing my overhead lamp bulbs with bright leds and I cannot figure out how to get at the bulb it feels like I'm going to break something. Figured I'd stop and ask you guys.
