1turbofocus I would have to buy 3 cranks at a time to be able to buy these again , not worth the cost to sell one crank and have 2 sitting on the shelf

Any news?

Delivered the kit is about $4,500 - $4,600 at current exchange rates.

It includes the heat treated, shot peened and magnaflux tested EN40B steel 95.0mm crankshaft (with Honda size big ends, fully counter weighted and knife edged and has full length oil feed per Cosworth style and has been tested to 10,000rpm plus w/forged oil pump gears), forged rods, forged pistons, ARP bolts and bearings.

Anxious to see what the specs and costs of other potential options are

Note, I don't know the company in the UK other than he has been very responsive to my messages and their web site looks like they make/sell lots of cool stuff.

sdaddy Anyone tried these cranks from Ike's in the UK?

He says they are in stock. Shipping to the US would be expensive...

It will be interesting to see how the specifications and price compares to the 2.3L cranks that are are made three at a time.

FORD ZETEC steel crankshaft 95mm stroke
This is a brand new EN40B steel crankshaft suitable for the Zetec silver or black top engines. It has a stroke of 95.0mm. These come with Honda size big ends to accept our steel conrods and piston kits. Unlike most other cranks on the market these are Fully counter weighted with knife edged finish. Full length oil feed as per Cosworth style unlike most other cranks available. All journals are cross drilled for 180* oil feed and all big ends receive oil feed from two mains. Oil gallery's are blanked with 1/8"bsp plugs for easy removal for cleaning. These are supplied. Flywheel fitment is 6 bolt std Zetec with provision for dowels so all std and after market flywheels will fit. Nose is as per std Zetec to accept std oil pump drive and pulleys etc. Crank comes fully balanced an weighs 16.3kg. Material is EN40B forging which is heat treated, shot peened and magnaflux tested. Have been tested to 10,000rpm plus. (special forged oil pump gears a must or dry sumped)

Keep us posted, I'm sure we'd both prefer if you could do it sooner, lol.

At the same time - due to the sudden interest in these kits right before I was going to contact Tom and tell him just to do the 2L motor - We'll make the co-op window tentative for now.
I got all the bushings replaced on my car, thinking no one was going to be interested within the time frame I wanted the new motor by. Naturally the installation on that set me back a bit, so if we're going for 2.3L now, I'll need a bit more time to save up again....figures, haha.
