Really? Cool, I do have a wifi obd2 code reader. Will that work?

There is no "DRL" wire, it's all controlled from the BCM to very the voltage to the low beams. I explored this option a while back.

The best thing to do is use Foccus to change the headlight settings. I can't remember exactly what needs to be changed, but I did it on my car and it works flawlessly.
