LOL....I Agree. Well I took the plunge put a deposit and going to pick it up in 2 days. My body guy is on standby and I ordered the rear bumper from Ford they lowered the price to cover it
When I get it fixed I will post before and after pics

3600 for an svt is a steal....
but make sure there is no frame damage. I had a car that was in a minor fender bender, appeared to be cosmetic damage, but there was a small problem with the frame that was unnoticeable to me that would have cost more to fix than the car was worth. ($3000 at the time)
just because there is no accident on the carfax, does not necessarily mean there was no unreported accident.
my personal experience makes me uneasy, but body work always makes me wonder about the frame, and that is often something an untrained eye may easily miss.
good luck, hope it works out for you.

|rambleon84||Its getting harder and harder to find SVTs for sale with less than a 100k on the odometer too. The ones with less than 60k all seem to be asking $6-7k+ too. I'd say go for it if you get the car and the work done for less than $4k when all is said and done.|

|nvmaddog||Agreed with a good cleaning attempt above first. No reason to buy a part when a good cleaning will do.|

Shoot.. If its the MAF I'd try cleaning it first before even replacing it... Pick up some cleaner at ur local parts store.. Clean it. Once dried put it in and reset the code... Careful because the MAF is a very delicate piece of electronics.. but that should solve whatever code is throwing... Are you having idle issue?

|nvmaddog||Mass air flow is extremely easy to fix so if it is that is the main thing mechanically wrong I'd take a shot at the body work as long as there is no frame damage.|
