LOL....I Agree. Well I took the plunge put a deposit and going to pick it up in 2 days. My body guy is on standby and I ordered the rear bumper from Ford they lowered the price to cover it

When I get it fixed I will post before and after pics

just because there is no accident on the carfax, does not necessarily mean there was no unreported accident.

my personal experience makes me uneasy, but body work always makes me wonder about the frame, and that is often something an untrained eye may easily miss.

good luck, hope it works out for you.

I had my body guy inspect the car today all is good and I put a deposit on it Going back with some friends to pick it up....Yea Baby

I had the VIN checked and it's a one owner car also the mileage is legit. My main concern was that it's a legit SVT lots of clones out there. Every SVT I looked at I had the VIN checked. Although not the cleanest I have seen, for the cost and what needs to be done I'm still way ahead of the game. The interior needs to have a date with Resolve and a brush...LOL but no rips or tears what so ever. Non smoker also. Did my calculations and I will be right around $3600 all said and done. Cost of car plus body work and odds and ends.

nvmaddog Agreed with a good cleaning attempt above first. No reason to buy a part when a good cleaning will do.

LouBomb Shoot.. If its the MAF I'd try cleaning it first before even replacing it... Pick up some cleaner at ur local parts store.. Clean it. Once dried put it in and reset the code... Careful because the MAF is a very delicate piece of electronics.. but that should solve whatever code is throwing... Are you having idle issue?

nvmaddog Mass air flow is extremely easy to fix so if it is that is the main thing mechanically wrong I'd take a shot at the body work as long as there is no frame damage.
