zetecDon Yes, a tune is well worth the money. It helps optimize what you have done to the car and it livens up your car a lot. Anyways if you are going with the SVT header it would be advisable to get a tune anyways or you take a chance at leaning out the engine at wide open throttle.

thanks man, i have been undecided on what i wanted to do.. probly get it welded in. tune is 400+.

zetecDon You could always remove the EGR and then get a tune to remove it's purpose all together so you don't get at check engine light to come on. Or you could just leave it on there and have a bung welded onto the header itself. Exhaust shops could do it for about $15-$20 easily. They may even have the bungs in stock in some cases.

SVT Header on ZX3 HELP?

i have a 2000 zx3 and i recently got a svt header, cat, and flex. zx3 has egr and i dont kno what to do with it. should i take it off and if i do that what do i do about the codes it going to throw.
