evilO ^^^Yeah. I wasn't thinking about the dash LOL. My mind was in the rearview mirror mindset. I have compass and temp too!

Really? My 2011 had it and so does my 2014. Exterior temp is displayed in both the radio and the drivers screen, compass on the drivers screen only.

block My 2013 SE has a compass and temperature. It has the expensive sport package - unsure if they were part of that package but I doubt it.

evilO I know this is the "visor mount" thread but has anyone ever considered homelink via replacing the rear view? Plus you would get a compass + temp

block The 2013 SE visor is incredibly is so thick it hits the "frame" of the car above the side window when rotated to my left to block the side. The extending feature is nice though, and handy for holding sun shades which are always too small.

PS: The 1995 Taurus had two driver's visors - could have one to your left and one in front at the same time, it was great (unless I'm confused with our '99 Dodge Reliant!).

Possible solution to this dilemma....

After getting the 2012 visor and realizing the clip also needs to be changed and the slide is no longer there, I got to thinking....

I went back to the local dealer and looked at the visor in a 2014 Escape Titanium model and I believe the visor is identical to that of the 2013-14 Focus except that it includes the Homelink buttons.

The style, the slide, the clip, mounting cover etc are all the same. The only thing I am not sure of is the actual electrical connector may or may not be the same type. Either way it would be easy enough to cut the one off of the Focus Visor and solder it on to the Escape visor. Or may the pins will pull out and go into the other connector. Either way, I believe this is a direct swap with the same color and style as our Focus visors.

I am going to order one up and find out :) If it works, and if someone wants my 2012 visor with Homelink, I will sell it for $50 plus shipping.

Kyle51895 If that's the case I might just stick to the remote in my center console lol

Btravelen Interesting, Ford included the 'slide' on the 2014 visor? No, the home link 2012 visor doesn't slide. My 2005 Passat visor slides AND has home link.... What a novel idea..
