LensDriven Haha- hope he doesn't mind me posting yet... Kipp's Blue 09 coupe, it's in the for sale section.

Pete (ma husband, Angrycoffeeman ^ up there) has decided he likes this car (the 06) so much that he's going to steal it from me, and he doesn't want his jeep anymore. :D we got him driving manual now (had posted about that in another thread... no one ever taught him- too bad, cause he caught on pretty quick after getting the pricipal down) so... I found another that we like, and going to sell our last jeep. Can't get it down here til the end of the month though...

LensDriven Look at that- bearly here three weeks and we are soon to have another Focus in our carport. Last jeep is finding a new home next few weeks. Just bought a FF member's ride, yay!

LensDriven Yeah, they had the part listed, just wasn't sure if it was weld on or bolt on. Like $93 is the best price I've found. May just grind it down and treat it- it's just the edges.

Yes! Rustbullet rocks! It really spreadable too, just get the loose stuff off, use two coats cause it micro bubbles, it's sand able so you can use it with any other paint or body filler. Just don't get it in your hair! Or on your nails... itll never come off. Haha, that was my lesson for the week.

EDIT: there was a test someone did, can't remember where on the net. Where they used that next to por-15 and chassis saver. It was the runner up to por-15. Por looked better after a few weeks of freezing and thawing, and being continuously submerged. So, Por's better, but it's also UV sensitive and requires a lot of prep and a top coat. RB doesn't need a top coat or any major prep, so that's why I use it. I figure if my vehicle is frozen and thawed while constantly being submerged, well... I have other problems to worry about :)

matmatician I believe the bumper support can be replaced. I just had my bumper off last week, I didmt really look at the support for it though since mine was ok. I'm gonna have to pick up a can of the rustbullet stuff, there's just a few small patches of rust on the frame of the new focus.

LensDriven This stuff called rustbullet. It's amazing, kinda like por-15 but requires less prep work. It comes out silver though so it's obvious I just spot treated under there, eventually ill sand t all use that then proper undercoating.

I did the entire interior of my 92 wrangler I had a while back with rustbullet, then rhino-lined over that. That stuff was untouchable.

TheGlassMaker What did you seal the rust with? Loctite rust resolver?
