klodkrawler05 I did mine for the first time in my ownership at 220k on the tdi, turns out the blower motor I thought was going bad wasnt, it just couldn't suck any air in through the filter lol, now I change it every other oil change so every 20k miles.

Speaking of wiring and sound systems I did a little wiring this weekend.
Before:

Current:

Still need to toss another coat of spackle on the holes from the old speaker mounts, re-paint the wall a lighter shade of green, paint the speaker trim rings and covers the same green and then put in longer HDMI cables (reason the entertainment center is not centered under the tv at present)

When I pop the trim off to paint the wall I want to run the outdoor antenna coax (the black cable at the bottom right of the photo) inside the trim and I no longer need the powerstrip plugged into the right hand wall either because the left outlet and new outlet behind the tv are both surge protected outlets.

You can also just barely tell in those photos but the rear speakers which are mounted on the walls at the back of the living room just had cable running along the edge of the ceiling and down the wall on the right hand side of the first picture (little white line)
Those now run through the ceiling into the attic then come out the same drop at the base of the wall behind the entertainment system.

ChalupaJones I had to do my first one pretty early because of NC summer forcing me to run my ac all the time.

ChalupaJones Every 10k miles or when it starts to smell bad when I turn on the A/C.

I work at a dump now so I might start doing it more often.

blackfx4x4 Those are all good units. I'll have to start saving my pennies n dimes. I have a few buddy's up here who I'm sure would be able to lend a hand. I know I love the factory sub in my F150.

Kazooo Those are very similar to the Basslink.

Check these out. I have the 12" in my Explorer and the 10" in the MINI.

I see it like this, you have two options:
1. You buy the Basslink and run the cabling yourself
2. You buy the Basslink and pay someone else to run the cabling
