It's though because I love the car and I know it's got some serious potential but if I plan to keep it for more than 6 months, I'm looking at another grand in repairs. My commute will be a little longer when I move so I'm gonna have to get the repairs unless I want to get stranded. Hoping to get something newer once the house loan stuff settles.

The unfortunate perils of owning an old car. It is at that point you need to figure out which is more worthwhile. $2-300 a month on something newer or put it all back into a pit.

Then you feel me. I really don't wanna spend over $200 a month for repairs on a $2000 car. If it was a classic, then it'd be okay.
