1turbofocus I have told Flint this so I will also put it here , I also do not feel this is a CFM issues they sell the CM clutches they dont warranty them , CM does and all warranty has to go through CM , I know this because I have had a few go bad and had to replace them

I installed the new clutch and did the break in (yes CM requires a break in) everything was fine it even held 350HP , then BAM started slipping about 4500 rpm

sleepyboy I'd send it to Clutch Masters and hope for the best, if it was the clutch failing then they will probably replace it. It's not CFM's fault and it's been too long for them to do anything anyways. I was going to get a CM stg 1 from THmotorsports since they were the cheapest (740 shipped) you may want to try them, I know they have some of the cheapest prices around for some parts. I just got some sway bars from them for pretty cheap. They have good reviews from what I can find and they were working with me since they could get me the Findanza flywheel (no longer made for the SVT).

Either way, its not really the fault of CFM, and they cant be held responsible. Especially if its been more than 30 days since the purchase.
At least the competition clutch stage 4 i had, it didnt require break in. U could just beat the crap out of it right out of the box and thats what i did, never had any problems. Stage 3 and lower DID require break in

Also if its not cfm brand why is it their fault? Like mentioned, more than a few days and the manufacturer is responsible for the product not the dealer

BlkNite713 Agreed^ honestly I've spent a lot of money at CFM and never once had a problem with them. If you are not willing to ship the clutch to clutch master than you will never see a credit. Gotta try to get some results bud. Regardless, if you decide that you "don't care about the credit" then I would surf the for sale section and see of you can find someone selling one at a discounted price. Also, copy the parts number for the clutch from clutch masters website and type it into eBay. A lot of times you can find clutches on there that are cross referenced for different cars but take the same 6 speed clutch as the svt(mini coop). I found my LuK clutch for my DD full kit for 327$versus 550 at cfm or 1000 at the ford dealership.

Good luck!

Stage 4 Clutchmasters Clutch...New One Needed

I have been working on my project nightmare for almost 2 years...I bought a brand new Stage 4 Clutchmaster Clutch last Fall...have put less than 1500 miles on it...the car has been down not driven so entire winter...I bought it from the Guys and C-F-M...its toast...TOM has been building the motor and its all done...final tuning...and its toast...The guys at C-F-M have basically washed their hands of it...The guys at Clutchmasters said send them the old one and if they determine its a manufacturing issue they will issue a credit...but I have to pay all the shipping..I am really annoyed with the guys at C-F-M...They will take your money but not stand behind their product they sell...bottom line...is I need a new one...and I wont buy it from them...If I ever see a credit I will be amazed...but I need a new one and I need it yesterday...open to suggestions...
