I don't necessarily have to lock them down like I did, but I do live in a college town which has a not so safe surrounding town...haha and I'd rather be safe than sorry. I will probably at some point paint the latches black to hide them better. It's actually pretty dang effective too.

I finished my audio overhaul today. It sounds amazing and is definitely overkill...but definitely worth it!
I went a different way with mounting my subs. I'll have to take more pictures, but I used safety hatches from home depot that can lock when folded down. So I mounted two of them to the back of two seat side with just enough of a space so the enclosure doesn't rest against the amp which is mounted to the back of the single seat side and then mounted the other half of the latches to the sub box. I can turn the latches and lock my subs down and even could put an actual lock if I really needed to. I used some 3m tape for a "bushing" against the latches...no rattle. If I need to fold the seats down which I don't ever really, I can just unlock the latches and fold them up and down goes the seat. I'm extremely proud of myself for what I have accomplished!
