You know that with the right set of fasteners ($50), any year Miata hardtop accessory (Roughly $800-900) will fit on any year Miata...right?

MattDzx3 I thought about buying one of those and building a hard top to make it into a fastback, I made drawings for it in a 2d cad program that came out pretty sick and make the car look way better (well at least IMO anyway). I still might do it, but post college.

RedComet Good choice! the NA gen Miata is possibly the best affordable driver's car, period. Looking to get an NB, normal or turbo'd Mazdaspeed version myself to go along with the Focus next year.

Edit: Just read that it fell through, that blows! Find another!

spacegravity4me i'd say it fits the bill of a traditional roadster, maybe not really sports car but still I like it. I'm just gonna sell my st for 3k firm and buy a decent used miata.

My dad had one for a while (an o2 or o3, i think). I literally could not sit in it with the top up. The car was fun, but I simply did not fit....
