This is good. I still do such when going into Wally World after parking my 06 F350 which I bought new. Same with the new Foci. All 3 Fords are right for me, by this standard!

Rebuild the head and you be good to go.

Anyways....

I was a truck person, still am actually. My focus was a SPI I still love it more than my wife. It been a paper weight since august I still like to go out and look at it. With one of my 7 rangers I've owned in the garage next to it.

RedComet I like my Focus because it drives great, is pretty quick for a small, FWD hatchback, is pretty decent on gas, and looks excellent. It's responsive and just has overall an alluring, enticing feel to it. It's always eager to get up and go.

choate OP. Here is my input and why I like my Focus so much now. I bought it b/c I needed a daily driver to preserve my 12 Mustang GT and all it's mods. Driving that piece of artwork back and for to work 50 miles round trip every day just didn't seem to make sense to me after I'd put so much money in mods on it so I looked and looked until I finally found my current Focus (see signature).

When I purchased the FOCI, it had no floor mats, holes in the cloth seats from cigs, dog hair under the seats (at least the dealer cleaned it up a little but there was a ton of white dog hair matted everywhere underneath the seats), coffee stains all over the roof and seats, a steering wheel that looked like someone puked on it (corroted from hand sweat) and smelled like a 85 year old woman. FWIW, I believe that a coffee drinking 80 year old woman w/ a white dog that smoked a ton of cigarettes was the previous owner. I found paperwork and her name was "Wilma" lol.

Anyway, I know some people that buy a lower priced car don't have money for this kind of stuff, but I tinted the windows, bought some heavy duty black floor mats for the front and rear, a leather steering wheel cover, leather FORD seat covers, shampooed the seats and floorboards, cleaned the roof and got all the coffee stains out, waxed the entire car, then plastidipped the hub caps and grill, recently had a shop weld in a lunchbox delete.

My car went from looking and giving the feeling like it was your grandma's car, to a little stealth road warrior that my own hard work went into and looks bada$$ if you ask me.

That's my story on why I love my little car. You should try to start "making it into your own car" and you'll learn to love it.

This. I've had two jbody cars. A cavalier and a sunfire. I hated them both. But I joined a similar forum to this one for those cars. Those people loved those cars. They were full of knowledge and also pretty good people. Any car experience is what you want it to be. If you just don't like the car then I doubt you'll ever break down and love it just because of some people on a forum.
