bringler26 make sure you have the endlinks tightened properly other wise you will have one hell of a racket coming from there(ask me how I know)

cdh_3752 Thanks for the help guys. I went ahead and replaced both sway bar links and adjusted the mounts with the suspension at ride height and everthing seems to be good to go. I still need to do some fine adjusting and clean up the car and Ill get a couple pics up.

bringler26 Yes, they would you could then get the proper (I'm not sure on proper wording) height of mounting and length of endlink to maintain the original stock sway bar design. Also shortening and lengthening the endlinks(if I understand properly from what I've read) can change how the sway bar works.

Mr.Bergner Adjustable end-links would probably be good for this scenario, no?

bringler26 that just allows you to move where the endlinks are set so you can attempt to keep the sway bar at its stock mounting height while lowering the car.

cdh_3752 Bump. About to finish some adjusting I'd like to set the sway bars right while I'm under there.

cdh_3752 ok well I got everything together. Took alot longer than I imagined, but its all back together tommorow ill finish up some adjusting and try to snap a couple pics. I got one question though how should the sway bar mounting tab be? I mean how high or low straight back or angled in or out? Im getting a popping from the front left sway bar link which is brand new, the only thing i can see causing it is the way its mounted?

Mr.Bergner Those work too, just a pita if you can't get an impact in there and have to use hand tools to crank it down. Takes forever it seems.

cdh_3752 I was thinking more like this with the spring compressors http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...g+rear+springs

Mr.Bergner This might have some good info for you. Maybe this is thread you were talking about where you compress the rear with a jack under the lower control arm, remove the shock bolts and slowly lower the arm down.
