|Snyper||Got this handled today. Thanks for pretty much walking me through the process. For being a small guy with small hands, it was hand to get in there and strip that wire in that little space.|

Awesome. Simple enough, thanks for the tips. I'll figure out what wire it is rather simply with some trial and error. Thanks!
Can I tap into that purple/green wire with more than one accessory? Say, I tap into it with the radar, can I also tap into it with my GPS? Or will that be too much for it?

|nickstewartroc||Basically you cut open the cord that goes from the radar detector to a cigarette lighter socket, correct? If so, you will need to connect one wire to the purple with green, and the other wire to ground, basically any metal on your car|

|nickstewartroc||Whats your model radar? Just want to look up the manual to make sure I don't tell you the wrong thing and break yours!|

Not an actual photo, since I didn't feel like undoing what I had done with the wire, but it's just like this, except instead of being a white, red (close together so rather hard to even notice there is a white), and black, it's just a white and red.

Oh, the little piece that when off reveals the fuse box and all kinds of wiring.
And my radar wire has a white and a red wire when the covering is pulled back; do I splice both those into the purple/green wire?
Sorry for the what-may-seem-to-be dumb questions.
