When starting the car while it is in accessory mode (shut off car - continue listening to radio and not open door - then restart the car) the input will switch from USB to A/V (probably 90+% of the time).
I've seen these issue also.

Also have noticed that after a reboot it starts off with the same song every time when playing from USB.

hillcountryflt Sync VersionGen2 - V3.5.1
The only oddities I am experiencing right now is that occasionally the audio input will be different from when I turned the car off previously. While not sure if this related to my sync or not, my backup camera will "lose" its guidelines (active or otherwise) frequently between restarts.
as to voice commands, I can tell it to turn climate on, turn a/c on and set temp and it will respond affirmatively, but nothing is actually working. I actually (heaven forbid) have to press the "soft" button to actually get it to start functioning. When it comes on, it will be a/c on and temp set to 70 as previously instructed during sync commands.

slybarman I wonder if the behavior of the remote start / MFT changed from the '12 models to the '13 models.

Likewise. I also make it a point to shut off the stereo before shutting down the car during winter since there is no point in having music playing during a remote start but on some random occassions the car takes the liberty of turning it back on. I haven't really quantified it but if I had to guess, I'd say about once for every 10 or so starts.

Weird - I just tried mine again to make sure my memory was right - my small dash screen says "remote start active", but the MFT screen is off until I get in and hit the start button.

Same with mine. MFT also boots up when remote started. I don't have push button start though.
