dmeray1 LOL, well I always liked the 15 spoke wheels....we need to see about this.

svt1391 Of all the wheels I've ever had, I've never had a set of 6 spokes. And they're my favorite lol

dmeray1 Yes, I'd like some photos. I have the stock six spoke wheels now. Thanks

I have some eaps in decent shape if you'd want to trade. I can't sell only because I need rollers lol I can send pics if you want. Pretty sure one or two have some pdip on them from color testing. Also +1 for weldcraft. They do excellent work. They widened the set of wheels I have sitting in the garage

I see sets on CL all the time. And Weldcraft repaired one of my 6-spokes like 7 years ago and they did a pretty good job!

I got my SVT on jack stands for oil cooler line removal/replacement. Its an easy job but lets see how motivated I am haha

Aku I've taken a couple sets of wheels to Weld Craft down in Livoniaish area. I had all 4 of my wheels for the passat repaired for around $250. Isn't the cheapest thing (unsure if any other places are cheaper or not but) but they did good work. They only do like bend repair and stuff, not refinishing. I intend to just find a powder coater to get the wheels looking 100%.

dmeray1 Hey all. After looking back a few pages I realized that a lot of the "old timers" are still posting here. Hi Doug, Brad, Ed, Allen and others.
Does anyone have a hook up or recommendation for wheel repair? My CTS has the 9 spoke polished wheels. The previous owner parked by braille and there is curb rash a plenty. I also have one wheel that is bent a little. May even consider getting them powder coated if it makes sense pricewise. LMK.

Aku Apparently not. They've held a few big meets on belle isle that I've been to but apparently this is like the 3rd or 4th event they did at that location.

jflash Oh ok. Is this the first year they've did it? I can't believe I've never heard of it before.
