UberToast I encountered a nice ST yesterday (6/25) - On Constitution going west to Powers around 1 or 2 pm. Silver Ingot, Wing Riser, Rokblokz mud flaps, appeared lowered, nice exhaust, Red ST badge in place of rear Ford Oval, Stubby antenna, front grill / bumper cover cut to accommodate an oil cooler. A variety of logos around the top of the windows, all in red as well. It was a nice build, but no one I recognized - is this familiar to anyone? If they're on FF, I wanted to say hello.

I noticed the mud flaps and the riser as I have the same flaps and am waiting for my riser hardware to arrive. I was interested to see that riser hardware live on a wing. Now I just need to get my ST wing painted (Anyone know someone that would do this cheap? I want it to be Tuxedo Black - any gloss black will do) and install the riser hardware.

My reasoning too - well, I got the car before the kid, but it was over great prodding from my wife at the potential of kids. I had an '01 Ranger and my wife had an '01 Focus SE, both vehicles had significant engine troubles and so I settled on trading both and getting the '12 SE Hatch.

It was damn fun, but i moved on to 4 doors due to fatherhood. Never did the timing belt on mine because of the horror stories I had read of DTCs and such. Even dealers weren't getting it right. If you're going to give it a go, for sure get the cam locking tool.

I don't have my SVT anymore... that was about 7 years ago. I'm rolling a black ST now, but always willing to help out. I did my fair share of work to that car, for sure.
