I Like supporting people, but maybe CFM should be more price competitive?
I think Im gonna go w the BBK one on ebay and try to offer them low.

Nice! One seller took longer to respond than the other. I don't recall which.
My point was to save people some money. Not put CFM out of business. I have their ORP and under drive pulleys which are very nice.

|ukfan50||I just left the eBay seller from post/link above a "Best Offer" of $200 (free shipping).|

|macdiesel||Never said "bad" or " person" in my post. Personally, I'd rather support a company that's makes more than one part for an aging chassis.|

|macdiesel||Ooooor you could support a site sponsor, like CFM, and purchases directly from them. Sooooo CFM continue to make parts for the mk1.|

Okay so resurrecting this tread from the dead because I finally got the BBK TB. I have no way to compare it to the CFM but I am very impressed with the quality and impact the part has on my car.
I wrote this in another thread already but I figured I would throw it in here too. The BBK TB is on ebay for 250 shipped or make an offer. I offered both sellers 200 for it and they both accepted. Not a guarantee that it will be the same for you but if your in the market for one I think it is worth a shot. Links below...
If anyone would like I can post pics of it installed.

I remember when I had my old FC 65mm TB, my stock SVTF TB would actually fit inside the the FC 65mm TB. I wish I took a pic to show it.
As for the OP, I have only seen one a normal zetec BBK TB, the outsides of it isn't as smooth as the FC or CFM ones. But it worked perfect like the others. Find someone with a Powerworks SC kit installed. I think some of those kits came with a larger BBK TB.
But TurboTom is correct, i liked how everyone ignored him. A bigger TB will not yield HP gains, just better throttle response and a stiffer gas pedal due to the stiffer spring on the new TB. Porting the stock TB would be the more economical move or find one used...

|Jack The Ripper||BBK's headquarters is literally like 5 miles from my house. I just had to say that lol.|

I ported my stock throttle body and you will feel a considerable improvement in throttle response and engine power below 2000rpm, now I don't know for a fact that I'm making any more power, but I can tell you that it feels more like I thought an SVTF should and you will enjoy driving the car a lot more.
