Ranger crank is lighter than Focus crank. Balance shafts are not needed. If you buy piecemeal remember that really late model heads started farting around with variable timing somesuchnonsense. No good. 2.0 head and ranger head bad. 2.3 head and nice intake good. And there may be a rebuild or two in the faq section. If not, someone on the turbo ranger site has done one or two.
Right on. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I'd add look for a '03-'07 23 out of a foci= no vct or whatever. Like said grab a ranger crank & get a plug for the bs feed hole. Get a 23 escape manifold= no tumble flaps. Lookup cfm & fwerks to start w/. Also to give you an idea= Burtonpower in the Uk. Seems like they have alot of great motors over there. Look what they run in the Caterham's.

OrangePeel lol It's alright. I've been looking at some of the builds some folks are suggesting. I think I might just build my own 2.3 to work with.

Going to start looking around for a 2.3 block and see if I can house it at my friends place until I buy my house.

I plan to supercharge the M3 if I sell either the Focus or the C32. The C32 is also for sale, so it's whichever goes first.

Sounds perfect but I don't have that money at the moment. I have to get some new design jobs done this year to turn some more profit into my project.

And the yellow is really nice too, though I'm considering going grabber orange or slightly darker.

Blonde included? hehe jk
