what do you mean by this? are you talking about 1st and reverse being hard to shift into? cause this hasn't been an issue before.

whynotthinkwhynot You just now need an oil change? UH... you should've had like 10 oil changes so far.

You need:
1) Remove spark plugs, clean, add anti-seize, check and adjust gap- reinstall.
2) Clean MAF
3) Air filter
4) Fuel filter- which should be changed every 20-30k miles or 1 year if you want to keep your fuel pump running as long as possible. I hope to get 200k out of mine.
5) Transmission fluid check

Personally, I think your transmission fluid is fine. All manual transmissions do that. What you do is shift into all the gears until the gears start to catch.

You don't change the clutch until you fail the clutch test- which is simple. Find a flat road, get up to 15 mph or so, shift into 4th gear, and floor the accel. One of 2 things will happen when you release the clutch pedal and floor the gas: 1) the engine will rev high, but the car will not move. This means you need a new clutch. 2) the engine will make a horrible groaning noise, and the car will not move. This means your clutch is ok. No matter which one you get, push the clutch pedal back in immediately.

2010 coupe 50K maintenance suggestions

I'm 30 miles from 50K. A routine oil change is due about now. I was wondering if I need to swap out tranny, clutch, and radiator fluids about now too? Plus I've noticed 1st and R are pretty tough to shift into from full stops sitting in natural and when its cold.
