I've been taking a hit on my mpg because of how shredded mine is. Winter was not kind to it.

It's not really a snorkel on the ST, more of a venturi nozzle to direct the air flow through the core support and into the air box unlike the nvh reducing snorkel on the base model. Well when the car wasn't misbuilt with the base snorkel on the ST

Low volume sales. If they could spread the development cost over a larger number of sales the unit price could be lower.

transitapparent My kids will be here for the summer so I plan on taking a couple weeks leave. If I get some extra time, I'll see if I can mock one up. won't be that hard to do and really shouldn't take too long. now that it's starting to warm up I may be able to do it before then. gonna have to go buy more fiberglass, I know I don't have enough in the garage right now.
ChalupaJones Fiberglass would be cool actually.
You're spot on with the stealth exhaust too! I'd rather have that!
transitapparent that's almost the price for a brand new stealth exhaust!!!! I'd rather have that than a skidplate any day. you can find a used one for even less. I feel like if I pulled mine off and took the measurements, I could make one myself. maybe not aluminum because I don't have metal working tools at home but I could definitely build a fiberglass one.

ChalupaJones Exactly what I was thinking. I'm not touching that with a 10ft pole.
