Bennybobo Not sure how to post a pic but I have one I want someone to look at. I have a noise on my drivers side 2016 Focus 5 speed. I removed the little piece of trim by gas pedal and the. Removed the big piece. There is a metal piece with bolts on bottom and top, hat piece is causing a rattle over any bump. Why would it rattle so much. Sounds like it is rubbing on plastic. Can I bring it to dealer with piece off and show them the rattle. They did try to no avail to fix it once. They put sticky foam on the bolts on the bottom of the metal but not helping

youcantSEme Trim removal tools help a lot! If you have a week or two to wait before you'll be doing this, the eBay set were literally $1 and actually ended up being good quality

Buy Trim Pry Tools!!

Just wanted to add for those looking at doing this, buy some nylon Trim Pry Tools (harbor freight #69668 $7.99). Save your self from breaking a tab on a $25-$XXX trim piece. I was trying this with the tools i had at home, couldn't get the first trim piece up, trim tools only took 20min a piece.

I read somewhere that it helps to pull the side panel to make it easier/possible to access the A/C panel and shifter panel.

How did you get the A/C panel out in the first place?
