rob_gray Amazon also carries that type of knobs. Mine are on the way, $13.29 with my free prime shipping. They also have 4 colors, red, silver, black and blue

Those are a good option but hard to come by.

That should be an easy fix. Get a roll of that stick on pinstripe from an auto parts store. I think Trim-brite makes it. Comes in 1/8",1/4" & 1/2". Probably 1/8" is what you would want. 1/16" might be too thin. Don't know how wide that indicator light on the knob is. But you could just cut a little piece (probably color black would look best) and stick it on there over the lights. Just make sure to clean the spot on the knob with some alcohol and avoid touching the adhesive side of the pinstripe with your fingers as much as possible as you stick it on. Wouldn't even have to take the knobs back off. I've used this stuff for years and it won't peel as long as it's put on right.

Took the liberty of doctoring your image a bit to show you what I mean:

It's pretty easy dude, you can't put the new ones on wrong because they have to go on like the oem ones. There's a notch they have to fit. Anyway, if you're not worried about the oem knobs, engage your parking break. Move your shifter into a position that isn't going to be in the way. Use vice grips, channel locks, whatever, I used a decent set of pliers. Pull straight back firmly and without twisting or you could do some damage. After the oem knobs are off pop on the new ones and bam you're done. Super easy.

frizz Got em. Installed them using the channel lock/towel method described here. Love them!
