I got this off a fellow fanatic up in Pennsylvania accidentally. I have been looking for a Stoffler rear valance for a few years having run across a familiar conundrum: got money-no part but if you are flatfooted the thing is right there! This time the site in Australia I found a while ago (that had it AND would ship here) was gone when I had the budget back on track.
I got a splitter from the Rieger from this gentleman and he also had this thing for sale. It was meant to be! I like most of the lines on the piece, but I have no desire to run dual tips on mine so the center bit was unnecessary for me. Learning the body repair chemicals to fix the rear the way I wanted has been pretty fun, possibly because I picked an easy project to start with!
I wanted to get the front fascia supported a little bit better, so I made some brackets with aluminum bar stock. New retainers in the fenders (Thanks, Internet!) and the aluminum holding more surface area. I'll really need to screw up for this to go awry.
These bastards took the better part of a week to get finished because the car is spread out at too many places. That, and I don't have a garage at my place I can put shop tools!

It's like I never get out of work... gotta get over often and put in work there, too. Man, it'll be worth it I just wish I'd seen the snafu's coming faster!
The downpipe needs to have the o2 bungs welded on the holes I drilled and it's done. My brother & I got the two nineties damn-near perfect. The trouble was we didn't catch my missed measurement until the last v-band was welded on. Just one more slice outta that thing and it will be clear (comfortably) of the axle & shift cables finally.
It turns out after 5+ emails I needed to call GReddy to FINALLY get an answer on the power harness/connector I bought a month or so ago for the boost controller...it's on galactic effn backorder! I anticipated this after almost two months and no return correspondence about the harness my kit was missing; in the end I had to make my own circuit.
In my "off nights" I also got my rear valance finished and the washer fluid reservoir modified (finally). Pics to follow!

I got back over to the garage and got some more stuff done! I successfully modified the roughed-up, used Stoffler rear valance for EDM cars. Thankfully I didn't mangle it!!!
Even more projects... yay. So, ended up emailing GReddy a total of 7 times between my brother & I. I scooped a few items to make a solution that shouldn't be to shabby until I can source the little bugger from Moser (or the parts get finished manufacturing and my back-order can be fulfilled with the true replacement).
Meanwhile; this is what I was getting into yesterday.
This guy was really hard to find in this country... ugh. I've looked for one over eight years and never had money when I did find one, nor find one when I did have the money! I like the shapes it had because I saw a great piece to change a tad (functionally & my aesthetic). A guy I met through years of dealings on the forums, I got this when I bought his spare Rieger splitter (another difficult piece to source for some).
I cut this guy off. I'll use pices of this later to bridge the gap I make. Back-braciing (or whatever the pros call it) and finishing it later is the plan.

^Looked good, but didn't really fit on the right as it was. The left was better because the exhaust side was contoured differently already.
Next I'll need to rebuild some structure back where I trimmed the original center section. Using strips ripped out of the extra I'll brace the whole thing and use a few tubes of workable flexible plastic repair epoxy & little cages.
It's all gonna look a great deal better in one color, but the fitment seems to be worked out now. I need to get the missing chunk & hole dealt with before sanding and prepping. *I do as much as I can to save myself a few sheckles with the guy. THat and I really want to learn to do this as well as fixing them*

The Roush skirts were dirt cheap but needed a lot of lovin' to be useable. Lovin' applied; now they're ready and waiting for paint along with a collections grille, hood vents, spoiler, the valance, and my wounded-but-restored Rieger. I'm getting the wiring for the boost controller handled today, but I gotta get through and grab a few things to do it. More updates coming!

The Rieger has been fixed, btw! Got this done o'er the weekend last.
I got together with my brother tonite and we headed over to get welding... we ended up getting damn-near 'there' in a couple hours.
Keep in mind, I really only saw this kinda of work on car shows and every so often a friend/relative! I'm already in the industry so learning to weld is on my checklist for life; that and I can make other parts of my life less expensive by making what I need.
I've been using my car to teach myself all sort of chicanery of the autophile type kind. It was fun at first, and even through tech school... now that it's my week it has gotten a little tougher to keep happy and motivated about hurrying/spending. I might be able to scrabble it all together by Focus Rising/Ford Nationals 2016, so that's what I'm shooting for. I need to learn (guess) where to put these o2 bungs in the whole thing but I keep hearing everyone knowledgeable (in my opinion, anyhow) saying "18 inches downstream"... I had the AEM instructions for the damn gauge when I first set it on jackstands but they are long gone now.
I'm headed back Saturday after I snag up another 3" ninety degree exhaust pipe or two for cutting & welding what I need. Intuition tells me to make the shape of the route to the exit as smooth as possible to cut down on turbulence inside the piping, so I may need to cut slices and weld them to the shape I need to cut this last bit! AAAAAAAAGGGGGHHH! SO CLOSE!

I'm in but I need to look that up. I gotta get eyes on these warlocks and price it out. I have a full brake swap to get to before I throw giant wheels on that thing, so it's not imperative yet.
