TheGlassMaker Yea I know. Didn't have much of a choice when it came to car shopping this year. At least I can put it in manual and still drive it like one. With out the clutch of course.

lyonsroar ^my 2006 Fusion I4 SEL with 74k sold for $11,500 last far.

Granted it was heavily modified, but still...idk about a 2011 for $11,000.

Either way I really dont care I just dont want a Mazda. And yes, everyone knows Mazda is Ford. Earlier Fusions use Mazda transmissions. And Mazda used Ford parts and they shared a pick up truck line and yadayada.

I just want the Fusion because I just think its better looking and they seem to be pretty cheap around here. I can get a 11 one for about 11 grand if I get lucky with not to many miles on it. I dont need a car that is insanely fast with all the things the Mazda has. I dont even want it. Besides the Fusions a great car.

TheGlassMaker Every ms6 I've seen has been in the 8-9500 range. I paid 7300 for my 3.0. I think it was a bit high I talked them down 500 due to some scratches and a ding in the hood. They fixed everything else it needed, I was desperate too. After I drove it I just had to have it.

Everything great except the various issues including diff problems and cracking/ breaking mounts. Yikes.
Yes the mounts do have issues but what car doesn't. zetec mounts for instance, but that can be easily fixed.

The 3.0 has a grocery list of issues too, but again what car doesn't. The ride and build quality is far above most. So much better than any brand ford I've been in.

The First gen 6 has been noted as the best handling FWD cars you could buy at the time. Even though my 6 spend the first month in the shop getting everything fixed (love warrantys) I would recommend them to anyone.
