It's totally gone.. besides some tiny little black flecks in the clear part you can barely see unless you get right up on it. I'm assuming it has something to do with the sun and UV... my car is never in a garage.

Didn't bother sanding or using any primers. Didn't take the tails out just taped it up really well.. 3 coats, not heavy near the bulbs darker towards the rear passenger doors... Masked off the reverse light... No clear coat used or haven't buffed either... Helping me reach that stealth look I'm after... Still need to do side indicators and front eyelids.

rcjames1 I rushed mine when I did them a while back. Resulted in a runny finish and dulled a little. Definitely going to redo in a few weeks here. Acetone will take it off and not ruin the casing, won't it?

Jburks They look alright now. They are still not very glossy but I'm actually kind of liking it that way so i decided to leave it.

I never clearcoated and mine dulled out a little. I would like to redo mine all together and mask off the reverse lights like many people do. And possibly a shade darker. Here is an old pic.
