Nah, there's dyno charts collected that show the improvement when the snorkel is removed. Adding the ST snorkel has zero benefit over the snorkel delete though it would be an improvement over the na snorkel. Not a mandatory mod by any means but it's free and proven to be a benefit.

Got phase 1 of the lift kit on the jetta last night, need to test fit the big tires tonight and decide if I want to lift the front a hair more or leave it where it is at present.

already rides a million times better down the gravel roads.

Yeah that was kinda my plan, might order one up this weekend. Not sure if I just want to do just the filter or the fswerks kit.
