I have steeda springs and the stock struts/shocks. Mine are absolutly shot. The car does have about 130K on it though. May be its was time. Unfortunately the springs have taken a beating and sit lower on the drivers side now. I'm thinking on going with the H&R race springs and Koni adjustables.
The 1.5" drop you're looking at will be ok for a while I think. That is if they are a progressive and a moderate spring rate. The steedas are progressive but are stiff for a progressive spring. stiff springs are hard on the stock struts/shocks.

|sleepyboy||Same here 1.8" drop on SVT struts and shocks. Anything below 2" though and they will wear out quickly. 1.5" drops seem to be the acceptable limit for them with no problems.|

1.4" spring on stock struts and shocks
I know its not ideal, but has anyone here put lowering springs with similar spring rates as oem, on stock shocks and struts? The springs only provide a 1.4" drop that I am looking at. I can get a killer deal on some ST Suspension springs (KW sister company). Thanks, Jon
