The windshield is cracked and the rear passenger door is dented from where someone backed into it last summer. Door only opens from the inside now. There is some rust behind the wheels on the lower part of the body.

Kelley Blue Book gives the value of the car in "fair" condition as $3551. According to their definition of "fair" I will go with that being the condition of the car. I plan to sell this car in the spring. Obviously, it will have more miles on it by then. I do not intend to repair anything on it, except for maybe the windshield.

I will try to get some pictures on here tomorrow to give you a better idea of the condition of the vehicle. What I want to know is what should i realistically expect to get for this car? I hold no delusions about it being a greater car than it is, I'm not trying to rip anyone off, but at the same time, I don't want to rip myself off. If this were your vehicle, what would you start it at and what would you settle for? Thanks.

Joe
Old post, but I happen to have the same year SVT w/blue inserts as you and I'm wondering if you know the build # of your SVT.

A Focused Family Here's my 2 cents...

They only made 104 of those. Kinda cool IMO.

6,500 seems high to me even with a new timing belt kit. That's dealer price. I paid 4K for an SVT with at least 2K in 95K tuneup parts if you'd pay someone to do it.

Without best I'd do is 4,500 and with cash maybe you could get it for 4K. Depends on how bad the seller needs to sell it too and how long the ads been up.

Wait till you see it reposted in a week or 2 then make another offer lol.

CHEERS!

Mike

That looks good in the pix. The main thing to take into account is to do a t/b soon. Plus what does the driver's seat left hand bolster look like. Some of those scatches can be buffed out if not all, depending on how bad they are.

This is the reason why:

There is a 25 Post count & 30-Day membership minimum before members are allowed to make classified posts and access to certain features on their account.

Once this is reached, it can sometimes take up to 24 hours to go through the system before a member will be allowed access to the Buy/Sell/Trade area.

Members who purposely make meaningless posts to reach the 25 post count limit may have those posts deleted without further notice.

You had just cleared the 25 post mark today. So that means either tomorrow of the next day you should be able to post in the B-S-T section. Please do not advertise out of that section.
