Yup! not a good idea. I wouldn't go over 2.5" unless charger, nitrous, or high NA build. Focus needs all the low end torque it can get

FFhb13 Ive been modding sport compacts and other cars since 1996...just got this car in
Mid march....3" exhaust is terrible on a na car, unless you plan on fi in the future or
An extremely built na race or track car. Just my .02 cents... by all means do it and prove
Me wrong....i think youll lose a lot of low and mid power, but have good top end.

But im just a troll with 800 posts so what do i know.

tower2 I have the na focus. I can't wait. One of the members on the forum cewright has it on his car and I sounds great. I can't wait to hear it with the header

You can use an ST exhaust on a non-ST hatch. You can't put a header on an ST though so I'm guessing they have a NA.

You must own a ST, correct? MBRP doesn't make an exhaust for the NA Focus that I could find.

tower2 Mbrp exhaust will be here tomorrow. cant wait to put it on. Will probably order a tuner after. So far header was best investment. Would take a video clip but the air intake is louder than the header. No cel because I put an extension on back o2 sensor on header. Also if ordering the obx header I recommend getting the porche o2 for the front sensor due to extended cord length. And because of the way it is set up if you ever need to replace the o2sensor you will have to unbolt header for clearance to remove it
