To check in your vehicle, press the following:
Gears > HELP > SYSTEM INFORMATION > CCPU S/W VERSION
The CCPU should be similar to X.XX.13171_PRODUCT. If it does not have the 13171 in it, you can either have your dealership perform the 3.6.2 update, or shoot me a private message and I'll send it to you on a USB flash drive. I'll need your full name, mailing address, and VIN.

|gtncpa||Sync my ride website says I am up to date. My iPhone is up to date. How do I check my version in my car?|

Have you updated your iPhone to the latest iOS and your MFT to v3.6.2? If not, I suggest doing both of those updates before a reset. If you already have updated both, try resetting your phone first because a master reset on MFT will set everything back to factory defaults.

I have two small issues. Both iPhone 4S related.
1- When I listen to Pandora via the USB, MFT will play for 20 seconds and then stop. My fix is to switch to blue tooth.
2- After I switch to BT from my example above, I cant pick up an incoming phone call. I try to pick it up from the MFT screen and the iPhone screen. Nothing. If they call back I can usually answer it.
I thought of doing a system reset. Any suggestions before I do that?

Still has some bugs but many of the worst were addressed.
Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 using FF Mobile.

|Milwaukee, WY||How are things working for everyone at this point? It just occurred to me that I haven't had any problems with MFT in a long time. I guess the latest update took care of most of the problems for my car. Just wondering if that's the consensus.|

Say for example my map on my nav screen physically zooms out one level whenever it switches from light to dark mode or vice versa. It also does not change the zoom indicator on the map to indicate that it has zoomed out one increment. It occurs when I am not interacting with the map in any manner, simply when it switches light/dark modes.
If your explanation is correct and even though this did not occur in prior versions of MFT (prior to 3.5.1) and began immediately after installation of a new version of MFT (using the same nav card as used in the previous version) I am the cause and something in my behavior/usage changed immediately after the installation of a newer version of MFT. As it would be on me and not MFT again a simple explanation/fix should be out there. I did a lot of digging around and found others reporting the same issue but no simple explanation or offering of suggestions to alter our behavior to fix the issue.
When I got my car w/2.11 I was able to use voice commands without problem and BT calling was crystal clear. After the installation of 3.0.2 I was unable to use voice commands and was unable to use BT calling anymore as well (using the exact same phone that worked fine with 2.11). I had the "wind tunnel effect" which was also reported by many other owners across a wide range of models. After installation of 3.5.1 the problem was immediately gone. So something in my behavior changes immediately after the 3.0.2 installation and I reverted back to my original behavior immediately after the installation of 3.5.1 perhaps? Not only myself but the others afflicted with this problem that also had it remedied after installation of 3.5.1?
All of the time at the dealership with reinstalls, APIM replacement, etc. that Ford paid for under warranty when they, again, could have offered a simple FAQ to myself or the dealership to fix the issue simply by correcting me, the source of the error. The latter would seem the simpler and cheaper solution if I were indeed the cause of the issue.

I use it almost everyday and it has been very stable since the last update.
Why would I conclude that it doesn't work well? That clearly doesn't make sense.
Perhaps the problem is that it's just not well suited for technophobes.
