petermb72 Yes I went with the same as was listed in the post before. I did not replace any bushings however, the person doing the alignment said that the bushings on the lower control arms should be replaced sometime but they were good for now.

06_infrared_zx4 Great, thanks. I think the girlfriend's '02 ZTS is gonna need the same stuff. Looks like I'll be soon.

petermb72 I replaced the upper arms because the allignment shop said that they needed the adjustable ones to make some of the adjustments that were needed. With me doing it my self and the arms only costing $60 each, it was worth the price just to get it over with.

petermb72 Just a quick note and and a thank you to everyone. The replacement of the Upper arms and then the allignment did the trick. The car drives great now. No more issues of the back end feeling like it wanted to swing around on slippery surfaces. The arms off of amazon were great and they were a snap to put in. It took the jack from the spare and then a bottle jack to compress the spring to take some of the preasure off of the bolts. I am glad I did the arms my self and saved the money!

amc49 OOOOOHHH, you can't do that.
Or so they say.............

I have hand aligned every car I ever owned and have never used an alignment shop. The cars drive fine and tires last forever.

thenorm your camber was fine. when you lower you generally gain camber.

all you really needed to do was to adjust the toe. 1/8"max toe out front. 0 toe rear. done.

If you have the know how to adjust your own toe, then by all means do it your self. I do my own alignemnts all the time. I have even taken it to a shop afterwards to confirm that my measurements matched theirs.

What prompted you to replace the control arms?
