Thinking about getting oil filter from amazon http://www.amazon.com/Motorcraft-FL-...ywords=fl-910s http://www.amazon.com/Motorcraft-FL-...ype=automotive
they are both motorcraft FL-910S but amazon says it won't fit in 2014 focus. Maybe 2014 is too new and it's not in amazon's database? what do you guys think it should work right?

Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor®
Your vehicle is equipped with an Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor® that
determines when the engine oil needs to be changed based on how your
vehicle is used. By using several important factors in its calculations,
the monitor helps reduce the cost of owning your vehicle and reduce
environmental waste at the same time. This means you won’t have to
remember to change the oil on a mileage-based schedule; the vehicle
lets you know when an oil change is due by displaying ENGINE OIL
CHANGE DUE or OIL CHANGE REQUIRED in the information display.
The following table is intended to provide examples of vehicle use and
its impact on engine oil change intervals; it is provided as a guideline
only. Actual engine oil change intervals depend on several factors and
generally decrease with severity of use.

|xxWeinerDogxx||The filter for the ST is the FL-910S. I don't know what the 'S' designator represents, but ford support told me to use an 'S' during an online chat. I get them for about $5-6 at Walmart.|

I buy the Motorcraft filter from wherever has the best deal. They're very good filters.
I change the oil in my driveway. I've never had a dealer do an oil change on any vehicle I own.

oh yeah I heard about that too, try stick to one brand of oil and don't change back and forth, why is that exactly?
our oil filter is Motorcraft FL-910, so just use that part number and get the filter in any car shop right? but get a decent brand filter.
Do you guys just change oil in dealer, I used to buy my own oil and filter and change it in dealer, (Mitsubishi)

|Fierceintent||Use what the owner manual tells you. Yeah pretty much any oil will be fine but just stick to one brand of oil (just a personal opinion).|
