Elizabeth Touchless magnetic dent repair.

One of the primary reasons to do a careful check of every inch of the car is to find little stuff like your two dents.
If they were spotted BEFORE you took ownership, the dealer would be happy to have them fixed.
Now... Who knows. You will find out if the dealer are good guys.. or not.
Personally. IMO once you take possession of the car. any defects in fit or finish become your problem.
(ulness you pointed them out, and got a response in writing that they would be fixed. Or, the actual service guy made it clear he gaurantees the problems will be fixed. The salesmans' promise means very little.
If all you can get is the salesmans' promise, then in writing is what you want.

focusonthefocus19 No sir. (: It didn't damage my paint at all, but make sure you don't get it hot enough so it can damage the paint.

Some people think it's a myth, but it only works on certain kind of dents, and it depends on the location.

erogers10287 Interesting. I'll def try that out before anything else...is there any risk of damage to the paint?

focusonthefocus19 You can do what I did. I've had a few small dents from people not knowing how to open their car door next to some one's car. I got a heat gun, and a can of spray air you can find in computer stores. It's called duster.

Apply heat from the heat fun, or hair dryer till it gets pretty warm. Quickly switch to the canned air, and spray the dent till it pops back out. It depends on the dent, and on the spot. It won't work every time on every dent.

Dents ahh!! Help!

Ok so I just picked up my brand new ST on Tuesday. Today when I was cleaning it I noticed two small dents in the hood. The car is black so it's super noticeable and it's going to drive me crazy now! Is there anything I could do? Should I take it back to the dealer and see what they say? I feel like they're going to tell me it's my responsibility. Help!
