Okay after much (more) research I'm pretty set on the Luk oem kit. But I recently came across this brand called F1 racing and apparantly they are a division of ACT and they have a stage one available. But my only concern is has anyone used this brand before and if so, have they had any luck with it because I've seen success and horror stories out of it....
Probably have a new clutch thanks to uncle sam pretty soon

|Ams13||I picked my LUK kit up from Gripforce for 430 shipped....not a bad price, I have about 50 miles on the clutch since installed. When I was reading up on most of the aftermarket clutches, not many were living past 40k miles.. Unacceptable|

|sleepyboy||Ok after investigating they have a ton of bad reviews and the BBB gives them a F rating. That sucks cause they had the cheapest price for the SVT clutch. I'd have to say don't order from them, you may or may not get the right part and in the end would cost as much as buying from Ebay after shipping returns and 15% restocking fee not to mention the length of time that could take cause in all the reviews it says they take forever just to reply to any thing.|

|sleepyboy||Wow, dunno what to say about that. A local member order his clutch for his SVT from them and got it. Guess it doesn't matter since the OP is probably going with a aftermarket one anyways.|

I would not recommend using partsgeek.com. I looked at yelp, and their ratings are terrible...

|sleepyboy||No problem glad to help. Oh and unless you plan on adding forced induction stage 1 would be fine, though a lot of people do the stage 2's or higher.|

I was looking at going stage 2 since it would be plenty for any future power upgrades I may do later on. I bought my car secondhand and has 140k on the odo and is slipping so I'd say its about due. After seeing the installation steps and process I'd really only have to do it once since I will be doing it myself lol

They fixed the problem and that was a recall on the early models due to the clutch not being big enough or something like that. In the early days of the forum there were countless threads on people who couldn't even get a clutch for the SVT under warranty due to the problem while the manufacturer was fixing it, which they did and now we new and improved version which works great. There are countless members on here with factory clutches now with no problems what so ever and even have 140k mi + on some of them.
To the OP, I dunno where you looking to buy all the pieces separately but I have no idea where you can beat the 300 and something bucks shipped for the whole kit, I've looked and this is hands down the best deal and cheapest. Aftermarket clutches are going to be easily twice has much cause you will need to get a flywheel with one. I haven't heard of anyone reusing the stock flywheel with a aftermarket before. Most of the time they get rid of the heavy stock flywheel. HERE is a clutch review thread that was started back in 05' it may help you decide on what to get?

I've been running a lightweight flywheel with a 400hp clutch kit since 2006: love it! That flywheel makes the engine rev so much faster; it sounds more like a bike.
I've seen multiple threads and posts about others having issues with the lighter flywheel; some have had crank issues, but I heel-toe and match revs so that may explain why mine's been trouble free...
