2000zX3sct My fogs just stopped working , there fogs from crappy tire so I really don't care but I think I'm gonna use the fog light hole for a ram air pipe .

ChrisRobin Yeah get those fog lights working!

I was actually thinking of ditching my Volant airbox with ram air and getting a K&N Apollo closed system and run the tubing straight down to underneath the car, and then have some sort of scoop to pick up all the air that rushes by under.

i did this but insted of from fog light from bottom grill area i got the flex hose from advance for 20 bucks and it looks like a shopvac hose and i think it works great way more power on interstate then stock and i took off finder snorkel and pluged it so its getting mass flow best mod followed by the k and n stock replacment pannal

iminhell Real helpful individuals, eh?

Internet, well no shit.
Guess you have no idea either, huh kiddo?

Heat Riser Tube. It's insulated convoluted tubing that was used for a good many years on late model vehicles. If you get a knowledgeable parts store employee they'll know exactly what it is. IIRC you should be able to find large sizes; the sizes used on cars/trucks were in the 1-7/8" range.
