|cprainwater||Running OEM 215/45-17, as I recall. Not near the cars this week, so I think these are the OEM's for 2004 SVT ZX5.|

DWS is a great tire, but what size are you running and what sort of driving (performance, highway, only in town) do you do? I've got another Conti to look at if they make it in your size.

|cprainwater||Variations on the Conti DWS's? Could you elaborate?|

|sleepyboy||The Eagle RS-A's were the orginal tires that came on the focus or at least my model year ZX3 with the stock 15" rims, they have the nick name of "screaming eagles" cause they scream when pushed hard, I wouldn't recommend them. The Eagle GT's have a few different variations of that tire. There are the GT's that you can get at Walmart and then there are the GT HR's which I got at a Goodyear dealer, way different tire and tread pattern. It looks like the consensus is you can't go wrong with the Conti's. Just make sure you check out which ones you get cause there are a few different variations of that tire.|

|JCH841||I'm running UniRoyal GTZs on my 2008 Focus. They are rated AA for traction and I have driven in both torrential rain and the nasty snow we had here last week. They are faster than my wipers in the rain, handle very well and seem to be wearing well with regular rotations. I'd buy them again.|

|sjdwales||go with dws tires. every customer who has goodyear eagle rs-a/gt's hate them during the winter. they r like stock tires on lot of ford vehicles. almost every ford engineer asks for dws if they are available.|

|ST 2K5||conti's all the way.. I had a set and now I'm rolling with Hankook tires (not by choice) which are ok but can't wait for them to wear out so I can get another set of DWS|

I have had experience with the Conti's and the Yokohama S-Drives. I actually miss my old S-Drives. I sold the wheels and tires together and wish I hadn't.
At the moment I have the Kumho ASTs on my daily wheels ... and they don't feel as good as the Yokohama's in the wet.
