02fordsvt The rear bumper is officially mine as of 30 minutes ago. And yes, it's damaged and was a great deal. lol

Not my picture and obviously not on my car (the bumper is still in Virginia) but here's what I'll be dealing with. Already repaired my SVT bumper which had about the same damage so I should know what I'm getting into. Don't know if I'm going to leave the lip on or not; we'll see when it gets here.

02fordsvt Well, I bought it with the knowledge than it had the damage (and hence got a great deal on it :) so that helped, but really, I don't care if everything is perfect anyways. I'm not building a show car and half the fun is fixing the stuff before putting it on. 80% of all items I've ever bought for this car have either been damaged or incomplete.

If you ever have any damaged items you need to dump, I'm listening. lol

onepd the thing I like about your attitude is a silly little thing like a damaged tab on a grill was no biggy and you will sort it, over here if I sell a grill with a damaged tab and forget to mention it its a paypal dispute and negative feedback, great work ethic

02fordsvt So after about a month, the last item finally arrived: an ST-170 grill. There's a bit of damage on the side of the surround and one partially broken tab but nothing that's not fixable.

As for the actual car right now, I've made good progress on the body work. It's all boring block sanding and tweaking things that I had already done so nothing new to report but things are looking good right now.

Also in talks on getting a Euro grill.

02fordsvt Well, still waiting for one item to come. :(

That said, the winter projects have begun. Got the rear body torn apart and have started work on the hatch and rear fenders again. Had to seal up between the fiberglass fender and the old metal bodywork around the wheels better since I was getting a lot of dust seeping in. Don't laugh but the best thing I found to use was a Great Stuff; it sealed up the gaps really well and should hold up well in the long run. Might fiberglass over it but haven't decided. Also took the rear bumper off, but I don't want to give the reason why just yet. ;)

Also got the Euro fuel door hooked up and ready to go. I'm using an American housing so it took a little chopping to get the lock to fit and work, but now it is completely functional. Just need paint.

02fordsvt Have to smooth the border first but it could be done. However, there's no need for the amber markers in Europe and that's the worst looking part IMO. The simpler the better.

slow_solo_focus Could paint it?
