LouBomb OP asked for quality aftermarket... Dynabeams are that...

Otherwise op find some used Machs, or st-170's.

CoasterMoose Call me cheap, but I bought 2 pairs of Sylvania XV Xtravision Halogen 9007 lamps from Amazon.com, for a total of $35 including shipping, and I cannot believe how well they light up the road in front of me on dark mornings and evenings during my commute - and I have a spare pair of lamps if replacements are needed.

I do not understand why people pay hundreds of dollars for HEADLIGHTS that have a funny color and don't do anything more that what I have for $17.50 per pair. The goofy colored headlights are a distractions to other drivers and a giant source of income for the manufacturers who are able to sell them to the naive consumers willing to buy them for inflated prices.

Does anyone really believe a set of HEADLIGHTS is worth $500 or more? If so, you have my sincerest symphathies. Spend your money on something that really matters!! Family and friends!

Thought of the day: Do not love anything that cannot love you in return.

just my 2 cents on this...

sleepyboy Most if not all OEM parts are better most of the time.

thenorm honestly, haveing had a few sets of aftermarket and ebay lights, the OEM ones, even though they are plain, have some of the best light output and beam pattern.

if you can spare the cash for them, get the OEM "Mach" HID. they really are that good. best $300 i spent

As all others have said, stay OEM with black SVT's, Machs, or ST170's, if you really want aftermarket, Dynabeams are the best option
How can you spend that much money and not go HID though? Seems pointless to me, all halogens suck (in my experience).

sleepyboy Well I know the Dynabeams are of VERY high quality, I just don't like the way they look. I've seen some and heard about some of the horrible fitment that some of the aftermarket ones have. I ain't going to lie my SVT knock offs sit a little higher than the stock one and it makes closing the hood a little hard, but they look alright lol

sleepyboy Ebay non-hid SVT knock off work fine for my focus, they even came with a hid kit lol. I can't bring my self to spend a lot of money on headlights when just a little fender bender could take them out. Those Dyna beams though are very high quality but I personally don't like the way they look, I like the Mach/ST170's much better.
