jbird1955 I have to chime in here.

I have the HTC Windows Phone 8X and it dovetails into Sync flawlessly. Anything I can do with the phone I can do through Sync (receive and send txt, bluetooth my music, etc, etc).

I've always felt that the limitations with Sync are more with the phone and not so much with the car. Maybe its more so because they both runn MS Ops?

snow12 I have an unlocked iPhone 5 that I am currently using with AT&T. I don't really have a preference with platforms but I do like the simplicity and the sheer fact the iPhone works all of the time. My old Galaxy Nexus had issues with apps force closing and such. Android is so much more customizable but hey I rarely used most of the widgets I had.

Without a doubt the iPhone 5 works so much better than the Galaxy Nexus for MFT. One issue that I always had was that the bluetooth streaming always required me to do all sorts of things like turning off bluetooth and turing it back on to work. With the iPhone it connects and plays instantly which I LOVE! The whole reading text thing is nice but if you really want that sort of integration get a Windows Phone. I had a Samsung Focus Flash and it worked the best with the MFT integration.

Looking to go with the new Samsung DNA. Glad to hear the Jellybean OS works so well with the car and have hopes texting will work too.

^^^and BlueIce....is that a rabbit sticking out of your grill? Is there a story behind that?

Boo. I have contact photos but they never show up. Same phone and everything.

Woggy64 Very happy with my Nokia 920 now - everything works well in the car, including incoming text alerts (will read them and let me reply - all by voice).

Was well worth dumping the iPhone for this.

thejordan Enabling bluetooth on the iphone is a lot more work than the android. iOS not having toggles or widgets is a real PITA. my iphone is jailbroken so i have a quick menu i can access without unlocking the device to turn bluetooth on/off (bluetooth takes a toll on my battery).

Any android on jellybean 4.2 is ideal. i'll never get another iphone for many many reasons.

TheDriver916 Yeah I have an android and it does what it needs to and nothing more. I would have bought an iPhone 5 but it's not compatible with my pioneer dbl din.

Ditto, but with slacker radio.

Forget iPhone, its a slowly dying device.
