Kurtsmith2013 I think when removing it as it was -3 my hands were freezing and end of the bulb touched the headlight housing :/ if the harness hasnt got power how does my sidelight and main beam work? Might be the bulb, new ones should be here tomorrow so i shall find out, thanks for your reply

Kipp get a meter and test the harness to see if it has power going in it when turned on. did you touch the bulb itself when you took it out or put it back? the oils on your hands can cause the bulbs to overheat and blow. as far as aiming did you get the bulb put back in properly and locked in place? they are easy to put in off center or not locked in all the way and look as yours does. could have also been that something was hit while removing.

08 focus headlight problem

So i was wiring my DRL to my sidelights to notice the wires was to short, so i thought about wiring to headlights (problem solved with auto on/off) i took my headlight bulb out and out it back in to notice my beam was pointing to the floor, when i went to the front of my car the headlight went out then flickered blue ? Now my headlight wont work, has it blown a fuse? The bulb doesnt seem to be blown ? Any help please.
