Magus2727 Their is a tear-a-part that's up redwood road. $1.00 entree fee, and should be only a few $ out the door. Also get on the local board their are a few members that have some connections that may be able to help out.

my_beautious_ZX3 alot of us in snow country have done that exact thing!

the corrosion which causes the fracture also sometimes damages the antenna threads. If that's the case for you, then buy the base from the dealer and then save yourself $30 by buying a generic antenna @ Autozone.

thingsidont wrecking yards sounds like the best choice to me.

Black00ZX3 Its about $15-20 from your local dealer. Probably not worth buying online because of the shipping cost.

Antena Mount

Well thanks to being in Snow Country - utah.
I was in process of clearing the snow off the top of my car and I hit my antenna breaking it off at the threads..

Where can I find a new base for it..
It looks easy enough to do.. take off light cover.. remove screw.. remove base unit.. reverse to install.

I have searched rockauto.com.. no luck
or am I going to have to go to the Dealer for this.. or of course wrecking Yards..

this is on an O5 ZX4
