Deftmetal Closing mirrors aren't on ford parts. Looks like if its possible parts would have to be sourced out of Europe or somewhere. They would be neat to have

bigdesignmachine I personally could care less about the lane warning system. The power folding mirrors would be great. My wife has them on her EX Sorento and they make drive thru and ATM visiting so much easier. Also great when parking at the mall, etc.

Deftmetal The mirrors would require at least different door modules along with a possible bcm re program. I don't know if anyone has gotten their bcm re programmed yet. At least one person was told by the dealership that re programing bcm couldn't be done. There is quite a bit of hardware associated with the lane keeping system.

Ford doesn't offer these things in North America because people wouldn't buy such a small car with the price tag of a European optioned focus.

bigdesignmachine Does anyone know if we can source these parts and if they will work on our US STs ?

1slofofo Lane departure and traffic signal is definitely Euro only. Parking sensors are options, might not have been optioned into ST3 pkg.

power fold mirrors?

I was reading this review http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/mosl...ps-coffee.html
and it said the ST-3 sold in lbs (assuming UK) has power fold mirrors and parking sensors. I have an ST-3 in USA (california) and mine has neither. Is this true of the production models? It also makes mention of lan-departure warning and traffic sign recognition. Were those just on the demo models?
auto high beam?
