Slicknick Same here. When I got the car I could get 34-39 when staying around 65-70. Now I average 28-32. I just changed my air filter so maybe it will go back up. Anything over 70 kills the mileage. I usually do 75-78 so I don't see how anyone can get above 32 going 75.

KamelReds I must be doing something wrong or something is wrong with my car. When I first got it, I would average 34mpg between mixed driving.

Then my commute became 7miles of stop and go hell and my average dropped to 28, I didn't think much of it because of the commute.

But now I've moved and live 30miles away and I'm still only averaging 28mpg. During the short commute time, I added k&n dropin with snorkel delete, 245/40 stickier tires, and lowered it.

I understand doing the tires and the like would drop my average, but not this much.

I drove from DFW to OKC yesterday on a fresh tank of QT 93 and only averaged 30mpg on the way up. On the on ramps, I went WOT which was2 or 3 times, the rest of the time I had the cruise set for 3mph above the limit -- so, 78mph for about 30 minutes and the other two hours at 73mph.

I'm also running SCTs preloaded tune right now, which I think helped get me up to 30mpg, because I was lucky to get 28 before. I've seen it all the way down to a 26mpg average.

Auto - Tranny type (Auto or Manual)
60 - Avg Speed
Varied - Driving conditions (hills, flat land, varied)
Snorkel delete & green filter - Any mods that may effect fuel economy.

46.6 mpg
Reading, PA to Kearny, NJ.

It depends. The best I've seen is 41mpg from Ohio to North Jersey on I-80 through PA, at 75mph, with the A/C off and windows down a bit and cruise set.

Most of the time I see about 36-37mpg on long trips at ~75mph. I've seen as low as 32-33 if it's really cold out, or lots of hills.

cavedog309 I would rather trade it in for a ,13 or 14 ST to tell the truth. And really 95% of my miles are HiWay and running93 Octane I don,t feel carbon is an issue here. We have a stretch of road on my way to work that I can open it up from time to time into the triple digit area . The DCTS Transmission is the fault here , What a Crappy way to do Business I feel.

cavedog309 LOL, Yep mine to SGM. 2012 SEFF. No ain,t the Gas 93 octane since New and 75% Non Ethanol. My Focus used to Flat out Fly. Triple digits many times and I bet on a closed course would go to that 150 Mark on the Speedo. Unless the Transmission exploded .

SGM SE mean Sterling Grey Metallic Sport Edition......I had the update on my '13 and my mpg hasn't changed a bit but have been driving it differently
(like with a clutch)....are you sure that maybe you are using a different gas or winter gas....just suggesting!
