|Milton||I just finished doing a 2007 ATX, the replacement dog bone was an OEM. I had the front wheels on ramps and ran into the same issue. I used a jack and block of wood to align the holes. It'll work.|

|PSUrivie||What I did was remove the bracket from the tranny (3 bolts). I then installed the mount to the subframe and the wiggled the tranny bracket onto the front of the mount. You will need an offset wrench to tighten the bottom bolt on the tranny mount if you go this route.|

|macdiesel||TKE your almost there. This is normal, especially if our other months are oem. Brute force that piece in there. If you have ratchet straps you could ratchet the trans towards the rear and jack it up. Everyone gave good advice on alternative solutions.|

|Svt_kid||Have you tired to put the bolt that connects to the transmision first and then the one to the sub frame?|

|zetecDon||Put your car on either jackstands or ramps. Take your jack with a block of wood on the lip and place that under your car. Raise the jack until it is supporting the motor. Loosen up the passenger side motor mount but don't take the bolts all the way out. This will give you a bit more of swaying motion in the motor. You may need someone to hold the engine while you place the dogbone mount into position. After you get the mount into position put the bolt in there and then tight the passenger mount back down.|

|mashore81||Is that mount reversible? Could you have it backwards? Worst case return it and get inserts.|

If I recall correctly, I put the bolt through the engine block side first then pushed the engine + mount back to get it lined up to the subframe. That poly is really stiff.
I have the same exact mount on my '07, I know it fits!!!!!

Well my experience isnt going to help, I had the opposite problem. Those two points were too close and I had to push the engine away. Along with my floor jack and a block of wood under the tranny/engine to support/move the weight while trying to get it to line up
If you raise the car higher/lower, will that create a pivot and let gravity push those two points closer? (I'm trying to orientate myself to that picture, front of the car is to the right, correct?) Do you have any ratchet straps you can hook around the subframe and engine to pull those two points closer?
No idea if either of those are viable or dumb...just throwing out ideas. I'm getting the impression you are working on this yourself. Glad you stopped on it last night, sounded like it had be super frustrating (I know i had to sleep on mine after not getting it done the night i tried to install it.)
