Why can't you post pics of the hood up with the snorkel installed?
Water intrusion is not an issue needing to be dealt with, btw. Short of driving into a tsunami, not enough water will be able to get into that small of an opening to cause an issue.

I printed a second one because I wanted the exposed snorkel to angle (down) lower for water drain. That's why it looks tipped forward. There are drain holes for water right under the opening. I have half of the grill dedicated to the new snorkel in front of vents, no cutting, of the shroud, just enlarged enough to fit the snorkel through. Doesn't get in the way of the active shutter and no overheating even though half of the grill is dedicated to the huge snorkel.
I noted .3 more miles per gallon, no biggie. It does seem to have more constant acceleration without the bog down at takeoff.
